PET ukazuje, ako ve\u013emi po\u0161koden\u00e9 s\u00fa bunky a&nbsp;CT potom dok\u00e1\u017ee tieto lo\u017eisk\u00e1 presne lokalizova\u0165. Ide o&nbsp;jednu z&nbsp;najmodernej\u0161\u00edch zobrazovac\u00edch met\u00f3d s\u00fa\u010dasnej medic\u00edny.<\/p>\n<h2>Pre koho je vy\u0161etrenie ur\u010den\u00e9<\/h2>\n<p>PET\/CT dok\u00e1\u017ee odhali\u0165 cel\u00fa radu patologick\u00fdch stavov. Vyu\u017e\u00edva sa najm\u00e4 v&nbsp;onkol\u00f3gii, za \u00fa\u010delom detekcie n\u00e1dorov\u00fdch lo\u017e\u00edsk, ich rozsahu a&nbsp;pr\u00edpadne aj pr\u00edtomnosti metast\u00e1z. T\u00fdm umo\u017e\u0148uje stanovenie spr\u00e1vnej strat\u00e9gie lie\u010dby, ale aj kontrolu pacientov, ktor\u00ed u\u017e lie\u010dbou pre\u0161li.<\/p>\n<p>V&nbsp;r\u00e1mci diagnostiky je PET\/CT nenahradite\u013en\u00e9 najm\u00e4 pri detekcii:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>karcin\u00f3mu prsn\u00edka,<\/li>\n<li>n\u00e1dorov za\u017e\u00edvacieho traktu,<\/li>\n<li>rakoviny p\u013e\u00fac,<\/li>\n<li>mal\u00edgnych lymf\u00f3mov,<\/li>\n<li>n\u00e1dorov mozgu<\/li>\n<li>a n\u00e1dorov v&nbsp;oblasti hlavy a&nbsp;krku.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Okrem onkol\u00f3gie je PET\/CT pr\u00ednosn\u00e9 aj v&nbsp;kardiol\u00f3gii, neurol\u00f3gii a&nbsp;v\u0161eobecne na&nbsp;detekciu rozli\u010dn\u00fdch z\u00e1palov\u00fdch alebo degenerat\u00edvnych procesov v&nbsp;tele.<\/p>\n<h2>Ako to funguje<\/h2>\n<p>Pred vy\u0161etren\u00edm PET (pozitr\u00f3nov\u00e1 emisn\u00e1 tomografia) pacient dostane intraven\u00f3zne mal\u00fa d\u00e1vku l\u00e1tky, naj\u010dastej\u0161ie zlo\u017eenej preva\u017ene z&nbsp;jednoduch\u00e9ho cukru \u2013 gluk\u00f3zy. T\u00e1 sl\u00fa\u017ei ako energia pre jednotliv\u00e9 bunky, a&nbsp;bunky premenen\u00e9 (\u010di u\u017e n\u00e1dorov\u00fdm bujnen\u00edm, alebo z\u00e1palom) tejto energie spotrebuj\u00fa viac ako tie zdrav\u00e9. PET vy\u0161etrenie potom n\u00e1sledne dok\u00e1\u017ee t\u00fato l\u00e1tku sp\u00e4tne detekova\u0165.<\/p>\n<p>Ke\u010f\u017ee samotn\u00e9 vy\u0161etrenie PET nevie \u00faplne presne zachyti\u0165 umiestnenie lo\u017eiska v&nbsp;anatomickej \u0161trukt\u00fare, prich\u00e1dza na&nbsp;rad po\u010d\u00edta\u010dov\u00e1 tomografia, \u010di\u017ee CT. Vy\u0161etrenie CT naopak uk\u00e1\u017ee presn\u00fa polohu patog\u00e9nneho lo\u017eiska.
